Long-Standing HTTPS

When a new message arrives the mailbox within 15mins, Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync sends back HTTPS Response.

To support the direct-push feature

A mobile user should subscribe an unlimited Internet access plan.

The Cellular phone carrier must support the long-standing HTTPS request. The cellular phone carrier will not close the long-standing HTTPS connection.

The time-out value on your firewall should be increased from the default to 15 to 30 minutes. If the time-out value is less than 15 mins, the firewall will close the HTTPS connection.
